173. Reuter carries the following item under date of Nanking, March 12th:
“Dr. C. T. Wang46 when interviewed informed the Kuo Min News Agency correspondent that he understands that the United States Government is exchanging views concerning abolition of consular jurisdiction with other Governments concerned, expects that foreign consular jurisdiction will be abolished before the beginning of next year.”
