17. Department’s 15, May 11, 6 p.m.28 The Commission of Inquiry and Conciliation has arranged for the repatriation of prisoners held respectively by Bolivia and Paraguay. The prisoners held by Paraguay will be brought to Corumbá, if the Brazilian Government consents to a request already made through the Brazilian Embassy here for this purpose. When Brazilian consent is received the Military Attaché at your Mission will be asked to proceed with a Brazilian officer to Corumbá to assist in connection with the repatriation. Further instructions will be sent for this purpose.
