80. Your 46.23 Saw President Leguia at 1 o’clock today. He told me that proposition number (2) of your telegram 46 of April 23rd would also be satisfactory and might be less complicated. He said that he would consult with the Chilean Ambassador at 5 o’clock this afternoon and at 6:30 he would let me know just what the Chilean Ambassador and himself agreed on and what they would ask President Hoover to do.
