Polk, Acting Secretary of State, three checks against the National City Bank of New York; one for $191,800.00, one for $19.38 and one for $9.23, making a total of $191,828.61, received by the American authorities in the Republic of Haiti from the accused persons Rigoberto Fernández Lecuona, Luís Loret de Mola y Castillo, Luis Estrada y Estrada, José de Cárdenas Armenteros and Joaquín de Oro y Vizcaíno.
