Sir: With reference to my reply of the 26th ultimo, to your note of the 25th ultimo, in relation to the alleged embarkation of certain Bohemian socialists at New York, I have the honor to inform you that I have [Page 56] received a report through the Attorney-General to the effect that the authorities at New York have been unable to obtain any information of any unlawful proceedings in the premises.
