Sir: On the 10th instant I inclosed to you a pamphlet relating to an international exhibition of arts, science, and industry, soon to be opened in this city, and I now have the honor to report that since the date of that inclosure I have been informed by the council of administration that they have secured from the government the free entry of all samples of whatever character intended for this exhibition.
