World Wide Diplomatic Archives Index: Brazil
Many diplomatic records created prior to 1959 are available at the National Archives. More recent records are retained in the Historic Archives at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and are available for research on a case by case basis. Also, the Contemporary Brazilian History Research and Documentation Center holds the personal archives of many former Brazilian foreign ministers and presidents.
