212. Editorial Note

On June 25 an Argentine Financial Mission arrived in the United States to discuss possible American aid to Argentina. The mission, headed by Carlos Coll Benegas, President of Banco de la [Page 413] Nación, held a series of eight meetings July 2–17 with a United States Delegation. The United States Delegation was composed of representatives from the Departments of State, Agriculture, and the Treasury, as well as the Export-Import Bank, and chaired by Maurice Bernbaum.
