On July 5, 1951, the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank authorized a line of credit amounting to $650,000 in favor of Fermirt Malaga Santolalla e Hijos Negociación Agricola y Minera, S. A., of Lima, to assist in financing the purchase of equipment and services, required for the expansion of facilities for the production of tungsten at the company’s mines (Export-Import Bank of Washington, Thirteenth Semiannual Report to Congress for the Period July–December 1951, Washington, 1952, pages 16–17,40).
