  • Determination under section 103(b) of the Mutual Defense Assistance Control Act2

Pursuant to Section 103(b) of the Mutual Defense Assistance Control Act of 1951 and in accordance with the recommendation contained in your letter of January 25, 1966, concurred in by the Department of State, the Department of Defense, the Department of Commerce, and the Agency for International Development,3 I hereby direct the continuance of United States assistance to Belgium, France, the Federal Republic of Germany, Italy, Japan, the Netherlands, Portugal, and the United Kingdom.

You are hereby directed to inform the chairmen of the six Congressional Committees of this determination pursuant to the reporting requirements of Section 103(b) of the Mutual Defense Assistance Control Act of 1951.
