My Dear Mr. McCormick: In accordance with your suggestion,. I have already consulted Mr. Gay in this matter1 and I am happy to say that as a result of urgent representations, the Ministry of Shipping in London have agreed to take no action pending further consultation in order that we may jointly decide what is best to be-done in the common interest.
