Does the Office of the Historian offer internships?
The Office of the Historian has interns working in its Washington, DC office in fall, spring, and summer. Previous interns have performed work that includes historical research and analysis, data entry, assisting in the preparation of Foreign Relations of the United States manuscripts, and social media projects. All applications must be submitted through the Department of State’s internship program. To be considered for an Office of the Historian internship, request placement in the Bureau of Public Affairs (PA) when submitting your application materials.
